Keep the records your vet asks for: blood glucose readings and insulin doses with a curve against your vet’s target range, a seizure diary with timing and type, and a daily mobility check for senior and arthritic dogs.
Built-in safety notes
The seizure diary warns you when there have been two or more seizures in 24 hours, which is an emergency. The diabetes log reminds you of the signs of low blood sugar after insulin. A falling mobility score over a week or two is a good reason to see your vet, since pain can often be managed well.
These logs support your vet’s care. They do not replace it.
